Description
The DX410 system is the premier model within the DX Series wireless intercom systems. Delivering an overall better experience and value, this two-channel wireless intercom system features wideband audio technology, 2-wire and 4-wire bridging, and 2-wire auto-nulling for fast integration with Clear-Com or TW wired partyline systems.
Features:
Each DX410 base station can support up to 15 registered BP410 wireless beltpacks and/or WH410 all-in-onewireless headsets. In a single-channel operation, any four beltpack users can engage in simultaneous, full-duplex (talk-listen) communication, while only three users may be in full-duplex mode in a dual-channel operation.
Marketing Applications
Broadcast
DX Systems provide simple and reliable wireless communications for users in single studio spaces. Single and multiple channel base station configurations are available for both studio and remote productions, making the DX Series the most versatile system for broadcast production companies. Remote communicator options include the world's smallest multi-channel beltpack and the unique all-in-one wireless headset.
Live Events
Live performances in smaller auditoriums and theatres need budget conscious communication solutions to support their operations. A smaller production staff is also asked to do more and therefore needs the flexibility to move freely from task to task. With a small form factor beltpack and/or an all-in-one headset, the DX wireless system is a great fit for smaller live production environments. Up to 15 beltpacks/headsets have a range of 1,000ft from the base station antennae allowing staff to move throughout the venue. This allows the team to execute multiple jobs at various positions without cabling constraints.
Sports
At smaller sports arenas and venues, creating a thrilling environment for fans is a key objective for a production team. Video board operation, sound effects and music, sideline talent and mobile camera teams all help drive the sports fan's experience. Producers need a reliable wireless system to coordinate staff into specific positions at a specific time. The DX wireless system is a perfect fit for these smaller sports complexes. With budget conscious users in mind, Clear-Com developed a very advanced wireless communication system. A 1,000-foot range allows users to easily move around the stadium and still remain in contact. Two channels allow producers to speak to relevant teams during a sporting event and ensure a smooth event.
House of Worship
Most large churches look to produce a very professional religious presentation. They may not necessarily be streaming their sermon online or producing for television, but with a large congregation in their sanctuary, they need a reliable communication system. Cues for lighting, music/sound, choral orchestration and cameras must be timely to produce a smooth enjoyable program. Because production staff needs to move throughout the congregation and sanctuary, wireless communication is essential. The DX wireless system allows a Church Technical Director to manage the entire staff even as they move from position to position. Functioning at 2.4GHz with frequency hopping and 7KHz wideband audio, team members are sure to communicate - even at a whisper level.
Theme Park
Rides at theme parks have lots of moving parts and lots of moving people. Riders need to be moved from queue lines, to the boarding area and on to the exit at a consistent pace. This requires a coordinated effort from a trained staff using high quality communications. Clear-Com's DX wireless system allows staff to move in and around a respective ride while maintaining constant communication. Any issue ranging from crowd control to a faulty ride segment can be immediately reported to the control room. Control can then address the situation and provide direction or procedures for mobile staff members.
Marine-Offshore
Offshore rigs are one of the more dangerous places to work. Constant communication while remaining mobile must be a priority to keep the platform safe. The control room needs contact with the rig manager, driller, derrickhand, motorman and roughnecks so tasks can be completed in parallel. The DX wireless system keeps the entire team in contact at all times. Any communication lapses can result in dangerous situations where workers could get injured. The ability to move to various positions and hear clearly, even in very loud environments, makes the DX system a requirement on any platform.
Military, Aerospace & Government
At training facilities, instructors are constantly coaching or providing guidance to individuals learning specific procedure or methodologies. In scenarios where trainees are mobile, and an instructor needs to communicate to a specific group of individuals, a channel based wireless system will fit the course. The DX wireless system provides 2-channel communication capability to a team of 15 users. Users can utilize beltpack with headset, or all-in-one headset gear and maneuver up to 1,000 feet away from the base station. This mobility is perfect for training situations where the need to move from position to position is part of the curriculum.
Safety & Industrial
Students learning medical procedures can't all be in the operating room with the lead doctor. A video feed can be carried to classrooms where intercom allows for two-way discussions. Students are essentially in situ and can ask questions in real-time. This is significantly better then learning surgical techniques by watching a recorded video. Duplex communication between students using speaker stations and doctors wearing all-in-one wireless headsets is used to facilitate education. Doctors on a wireless DX system talk/listen to students over an IP link provided by Clear-Com LQ rack and throwdown boxes. The production studio running the program also leverages the IP link for in-system communications using beltpacks and headsets.
