Description

Livemix is the personal monitoring system that is simple enough for volunteers to use, but deep enough to meet professional demands. In addition to ease of use and amazing features, it sounds incredible and is an outstanding value.

Every Livemix system needs an input, a central mixer/distributor, and at least one personal mixer. To design the system, just select which input you need, either analog or Dante digital. Then select the central mixer based on how many mixes you need now or may need in the future. Then determine how many personal mixers you need. The CS-SOLO personal mixer, provides one personal mix. The CS-DUO dual mix personal mixer, provides two separate mixes, helping reduce additional costs and stage clutter. Lastly, select how many MT-1 mic stand mounts and accessories you may need.

Analog Studio Bundle Contents:

  • 2x CS-DUO (2 mixes)
  • 1x CS-SOLO (1 mix)
  • 1x MIX-16
  • 1x AD-24
  • 3x MT-1 mic stand mounts
  • 1x 1' CAT6 Cable • 3x 50' CAT6 Cables

CS-DUO

The Livemix CS-DUO is the most feature rich personal mixer on the market. The LCD touchscreen with custom naming makes creating a mix easy. Dedicated knobs provide quick access to essential features.

The Livemix CS-DUO is two personal mixers in one. With two mixes per unit, you can reduce your overall per node cost without sacrificing quality or functionality.

The CS-DUO provides 24 channels plus accessory channels, each with EQ and compression. The master output features EQ, compression and reverb. MirrorMix® remote setup and mixing, mute and solo options, channel grouping and LCD dimming make the Livemix system deep enough for professionals, but simple enough for volunteers.

MIX-16
The MIX-16 is the central mixer for the Livemix personal monitor system. The MIX-16 supplies mix streams as well as power to each of the connected personal mixers.

The MIX-16 will generally be placed near the personal mixers, likely in a rack near the stage. The MIX-16 receives input data over a network cable, either from the AD-24 (shielded) or a Dante network via the LM-DANTE-EXP Dante card.

Each port on the MIX-16 supports two discrete personal monitor mixes. Connect a single CS-DUO or up to two CS-SOLOs to each port with standard network cable. Maximum combined CAT5e cable (shielded or unshielded) distance is 100 meters.

AD-24
If you have an analog based system, the AD-24 Analog Input Rack Unit takes your analog signals and converts them to digital, for use in the Livemix system. It will most likely be installed near the analog source. If this is your mixer's Direct Outs or Inserts, then the AD-24 will be near the mixer. If you use a snake with mic preamps, it might be near the snake.

The AD-24 receives your input signal via TRS or DB-25. The inputs pass through, so you can send your audio to the AD-24 via DB-25, and back out through the TRS if required.

The front panel interface indicates input signal levels by LED and allows selection of -10 dBV or +4 dBu line level, which are in stereo pairs.
