The Glensound Beatrice intercom system utilizes the reliable and proven Dante network audio transmission protocol to allow real-time distribution of uncompressed audio across standard IP networks. As such, Beatrice products are compatible with all other Dante equipment, regardless of manufacturer. Beatrice units are AES67 compliant.

Why Beatrice?
Glensound chose the name Beatrice for their intercom system as she was the love of Dante Aligheri:

Dante (writer of the the classic literary work "Inferno") was in love with Beatrice Portinari (also known as Bice)" whom he met when he was only nine and claimed to have fallen in love with her "at first sight". Glensound therefore hopes that you will fall in love with Beatrice at first sight, too!
