Point Source Audio EM-i5 Headset

One Headset. Multiple Connections.

The EM-i5 earset takes the innovative design of the popular CM-i5 headset to the next level, combining a professional-grade microphone and integrated in-ear monitoring (IEM) into a more compact, flexible solution. With both microphone and IEM signals carried through a single cable, the EM-i5 simplifies setup, reduces cable clutter, and delivers greater freedom of movement, eliminating the CM-i5's headband. For extra flexibility, one of the two IEM earbuds can be removed.

Designed for broadcast, live production, theater, and other demanding applications, the EM-i5 offers a streamlined, discreet alternative to traditional headset systems without sacrificing the convenience and functionality that made the CM-i5 a standout.

Features

Frameless Design

Building on the success of the CM-i5, the EM-i5 is an all-new frameless headset. For further flexibility, you can detach one of the IEM cables, when outside sound is still needed, or for broadcast on-air use with a mono IFB.

Condenser Mic Element

The EM-i5 offers a slimmer, lighter condenser microphone designed for clarity and all-day wearing comfort. The headset is among the world’s only modular in-ear headsets offering a revolutionary combination of in-ear performance, lightweight comfort and earphone modularity. The robust feature set makes the headset ideal for broadcast teams from directors to camera operators who rely vitally on the ability to hear clearly—and react quickly in order to capture live action shots.

Customizable IEM

Just like the CM-i5, the IEM earphone detaches from the headset. Remove to maintain proper hygiene if sharing the headset. You can replace the IEM with personal in-ears of your liking - the MMCX Connector is compatible with most brands of in-ear monitors. Enjoy more modular customization of your headset in a snap!

Single Or Double?

The EM-i5 has an incredibly useful feature: you can remove one of the IEM channels for a single-sided solution!

Ideal for:

- Broadcast talent using single-ear IFB
- Production techs still needing to hear locally
