Description
The Aviom16/o-Y1 A-Net Card provides a direct digital interface between Yamaha digital mixer products and Aviom's Pro16 Series, including the A360, A-16II and A-16R Personal Mixers, A-Net distributors, and output modules.
The Y1 card eliminates the need for an analog input module when creating a monitor mixing or audio distribution system. Assign any combination of channels, direct outputs, aux sends, groups, or sub-mixes from the Yamaha console user interface to the Y1 card as needed. Each Y1 card installed in a console's MY expansion slot supports up to 16 channels.
Features:
- Mini-YGDAI (MY) format, supported by most Yamaha digital consoles
- One 16-channel A-Net output
- Supports sample rates from 44.1kHz to 48kHz, +/-10%
- Assign audio outputs directly from the Yamaha interface
- Channel Link DIP switches for stereo operation
The Y1 card fits into any available expansion slot and is compatible with all Yamaha consoles and mix engines which support the Mini-YGDAI format, including: 01V96;02R96;DM1000;DM2000;PM5D;PM1D (8-channel mode only);M7CL;DME64N;DME24N;DSP5D;LS9-16;LS9-32;
Configuration of an Aviom monitoring system can be done digitally from the Yamaha console's user interface. DIP switches are provided for stereo link configuration of each channel pair. MY8 and MY16 mode switches on the Y1 allow the A-Net card to be used with Yamaha digital mixers that support only 8- channel expansion cards, such as the PM1D.
The Y1 card is also compatible with AV-P2 and AN-16/o Output Modules and the A-16D and A-16D Pro A-Net Distributors.As with all Pro16 Series products, Cat-5e cable lengths of up to 500 feet (150 meters) are possible between devices.
