Broadcast Devices SWP-300 RF Single Switch Site Controller + 2 3-1/8 Couplers

Broadcast Devices, Inc. announces a new product for the RF site industry, the SWP-300 RF Site Controller. The SWP-300 RF Site Controller is designed to provide complete web-enabled remote control of an RF site. The system provides direct connection to motorized RF switches and to the company's popular DPS-100D True RMS Power Meter series. Complete transmitter control and interlock management is provided by a single connector; 16 additional control outputs, 8 status inputs and 4 analog inputs are provided. When DPS-100D power meters are interconnected forward and reflected power, temperature and transmission line pressure are displayed without the need to scale or setup analog inputs for this purpose. A web interface is provided that is compatible with BDI's Stack Graphical User Interface. A simple setup program is supplied to label command buttons, status inputs and analog inputs. Accessories offered include pre-made motorized RF switch interface cable for direct plug and play connection to most RF switches offered.

The SWP-300-1 Series controls one - two position switch assembly. Basic single switch controller/site controller for controlling up to two transmitters connected to up to two loads, typically an antenna and dummy load. - Optional RF sensors available for "Switch Saver"™ operations, auto switching upon power loss and VSWR 3 strike protection. Provides 8 relay outs with NC/C/NO, 8 solid state outputs, and 8 status inputs. Also provides local control of TX Off/On, TX select, TX Interlock Status, and fault reset/status, Auto/Manual Command/Status and 4 analog inputs for legacy equipment.

The SWP-300 Site Controller is a cost effective remote system for transmitter sites offering full sized remote capability in a compact package. What makes the SWP-300 so unique is that it is the only controller on the market with direct connection from 4 port switches AND the BDI DPS-100D True RMS power monitor series. Simple plug and play of all popular RF switches provides a hassle free installation. No more drudgery of interlock paths and steering. The SWP-300 does it all. In addition to these plug and play features the system also provides 16 command outputs - 8 form C relays and 8 solid state command outputs. There are 8 status inputs and we even provided 4 analog voltage inputs for legacy equipment. Control and monitor all functions via BDI's exclusive Stack console software for Windows and Android devices. The SWP-300 also supports Ethernet SNMPv2 as an SNMP agent.
The SWP-300 is designed specifically to address the most common RF site configuration - two transmitters switched to an output. Two models are available. The SWP-300-1T interfaces to one RF switch. The SWP-300-2T can handle two for Main/Alt. TX and Main/Alt. Antenna configurations. Automatic features are set up by simple menu changes. No macros to write or complicated configuration files to edit. Just simple selections at setup time. The SWP-300 series is part of a growing family of RF site support products from BDI.
