The Gefen DVI FM500 Extender provides a robust and reliable solution to extend DVI video over extremely long distances. This professional-grade DVI over fiber system utilizes a compact sender and receiver set to transmit high-resolution DVI signals up to 5,000 feet using just two strands of LC fiber optic cable. By supporting video resolutions up to 1920x1200, the extender ensures pristine image quality, while the nature of optical signal transmission provides complete immunity from electromagnetic interference (EMI), making it perfect for installations in challenging environments.
