    Description

The KSM11 Vocal Microphone redefines vocal performance by providing a prized combination of full lows, clear mids and high-end detail, without the need for extensive EQ. A cardioid condenser designed specifically for live performance, event recording and premium streaming, the KSM11 presents live vocals that must be heard to be believed.

As modern live stages have transitioned to digital technology, the KSM11 cardioid condenser microphone was developed to take advantage of increased digital audio linearity – equal output across the frequency range. The KSM11 delivers an elegant balance of full low end, rich mid-range, essential high-end detail, and incredible off-axis rejection. Professional engineers have a near-perfect presentation of vocal performance to build their mixes around, EQing by choice and not default. You've simply never heard vocals sound this good.

    Features:

    • Proprietary condenser cartridge utilizing a ¾" gold diaphragm and premium electronics for exceptional dynamic range.
    • Highly consistent, deep cardioid polar pattern reduces off-axis phase distortion for pristine, focused vocal reproduction.
    • Advanced suspended isolation system for virtually zero handling noise.
    • Dent-resistant hardened steel grille with 3-stage plosive reduction pop filtering for consistent, artifact-free vocals.
    Type Electret Condenser
    Polar Pattern Cardioid
    Freqeuncy Response 80 to 20,000ÊHz
    Output Impedance (1 kHz) 150 ½
Sensitivity at 1 kHz, open circuit voltage Ð46.5 dBV/Pa
Maximum SPL with 5 VDC 151 dB SPL
    Signal-to-Noise Ratio 71.5 dB
Dynamic Range with 5 VDC 128.5 dB
Clipping Level with 5 VDC 10 dBV
Self Noise 22.5 dB SPL typical, equivalent SPL, A-weighted
Polarity Positive pressure on diaphragm produces positive voltage into transmitter with respect to ground.
Power Requirements 11 to 52 V DC phantom power (IEC-61938) 5.2 mA, maximum
    Weight 239 g (8.43 oz.)
