Description
The upgrade kit includes:
- Upgraded Digital I/O board
- New front cover for old chassis
- 6 additional optimization channels
The DMON Upgrade program is intended to meet two purposes:
1. Make any DMON sold in the past capable of driving a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system.
2. Bringing any DMON up tocurrent specifications with the ability to increase the numberof Optimization channels further, up to 18 channels for larger configurations.. Besides upgrading some hardware components, a new front cover will be added; its design is identical with the new DMON faceplate, rack ears excluded.
