This dynamic mic head is the one you would choose in very loud environment because it captures more sound from the front and rejects sound from the sides. This allows for filtering ambience noise. The frequency response curve has been optimized for excellent capturing intelligibility of speech. When used outdoors, however, a windscreen is recommended.

All mic heads support iXm's Twist-Off-Twist-On (TOTO) mount and TOTO auto detection. You can swap heads even between lines at any time and the iXm's parameter setup will automatically adjust to the new capsule.
