TASCAM Sonicview recording mixing consoles integrate beautifully with the rest of your system, thanks to built-in Dante networking, a 32-bit/96 kHz multi-channel USB audio interface, built-in multi-track SD recording, and plenty of I/O. TASCAM has a long history of high-quality digital mixers, culminating with the legendary DM-4800, a workhorse mixer that set a new standard. With TASCAM Sonicview, TASCAM has created an entirely new line of digital recording and mixing consoles that incorporate the latest technology and make it easy to see and control all of the parameters you want, when you want, with completely customizable touch screens and user-definable buttons, along with motorized faders and intuitive control software.

With TASCAM Sonicview, the goal is to allow artists, engineers, and performers realize their creativity with the ultimate audio and recording quality possible.

TASCAM Sonicview delivers the finest audio performance in its class, thanks to a 54-bit float-point FPGA mixing engine; continuous, high-definition 32-bit/96 kHz sampling; and 32-bit analog-to-digital converters. The mixing engine's float-point processing makes it possible to flexibly change levels without compromising resolution and FPGA mixing engine make it possible to ensures ultra-low latency, even in analog-to-analog connections. The result is no-compromises performance, including with Dante networks and in-line monitoring systems.

Two TASCAM Sonicview models are available, which differ in frame size and the number of physical inputs, mic preamps, faders, and touch screens. The TASCAM Sonicview 16XP offers 16 physical input channels with motorized faders and TASCAM’s top-of-the-line Class 1 HDIA microphone preamps, while the TASCAM Sonicview 24XP provides 24. The TASCAM Sonicview 16XP, with its smaller frame size, can be rack-mounted. Internally, the architecture of the two models are the same, with a generous 44 input channels (40 mono channels and 2 stereo channels), 4 stereo FX return channels, 22 flex output buses, and the L/R main bus.

Offering the same performance and hardware quality as TASCAM Sonicview recording and live mixers, TASCAM SB-16D Dante-networked 16-in/16-out stage boxes offer all the advantages of Dante networking, combined with seamless integration with TASCAM Sonicview recording mixers. The stage boxes can be used as a floor stage box or rack mounted, and multiple stage boxes can be used simultaneously in a Dante network.
