Description
This stud adapter plate is used to bridge two structural studs offering a secure surface mounting for specific ceiling mounts as specified below. It bridges both standard 16Ó wood and metal construction wall stud spacing.
This stud adapter plate is made from rugged alloy steel with two double horizontal flanges for added rigidity. The assembly is finished with a bakedon powder coat paint.
The CP-16 may be mounted over dry wall, plaster and other ceiling materials, as long as it is firmly anchored into the structure. It can even be embedded inside the ceiling materials for a clean flush appearance.
