The AKG Acoustics GN 155 SET 61 inch (155 cm) thin profile gooseneck microphone stand answers many needs in modern speech/vocal applications, from house of worship activities to TV and other on-stage entertainment. The matte gray finish and the application of the AKG Discreet series of capsules provide superior voice quality as well as an unobtrusive view to the audience. User-defined jumper settings in the base allow for a bass roll-off below 200 Hz and disengaging the red LED ring that is illuminated when phantom power is turned on. The heavy shock mount base provides a very low center of gravity for ultimate stability and noise free operation in all environments.

Suited for stand-alone use on stage or in front of a lectern. Two integrated flexible gooseneck sections allow optimum alignment with talkers of different heights or positions. A supplied screw-on extension tube can be used to place the microphone higher for tall talkers. The supplied 10 m (33 ft.) cable with XLR phantom power adapter is long enough to reach the edge of most stages with no extension cable.
