When the microphones are hot, you need to avoid loud disruptions. That’s where the Studio Signal Light comes in. Broadcasters call these tally lights. Available in five sizes with one to five colored segments. Use the red segment to tell everyone you’re on the air. The other colored segments can be used to indicate just about anything. A flashing light can replace a ringing phone. Another light could be used to warn talent of an upcoming break. A light segment for pizza delivery? You’ll be coming up with your own bright ideas.
Each colored ring is created with multiple long-life, energy-efficient LEDs. Each segment is individually programmable to illuminate steadily, flash, or to appear to rotate. The molded enclosure is made out of flame-retardant ABS plastic and mounts easily on your tabletop. Simply drill a hole in the table to pass the cable through and then use the included screws to secure the Light.
The Studio Signal Light is easy to control. Illuminate them with 12VDC. If you have a broadcast console with built-in logic, you can drive these directly. Or make your own interface.
