DAS HQ-218-CX - Passive Dual 18-Inch Subwoofer (Black / Covered Exposure)

HQ-218 is a subwoofer designed for medium- to large-scale applications, ideal for venues such as pavilions, stadiums, and auditoriums. The system features two 18" long-excursion drivers equipped with 4" voice coils, mounted in a direct-radiation configuration, allowing it to deliver powerful and controlled low-frequency performance.

HQ-218 covers a frequency range from 50 Hz to 125 Hz, reaching a maximum sound pressure level of 140 dB SPL. With a power handling capacity of 2000 W RMS and 8000 W peak power, this system is designed to provide a deep and impactful bass response in demanding environments.

The enclosure is built from birch plywood and is available in two versions: CX (Covered Exposure), featuring an ISO-flex coating on both the interior and exterior, and DX (Direct Exposure), which adds an external fiberglass layer and an internal gel coating for enhanced weather resistance. Both versions comply with the IP54 standard, ensuring the system's durability in adverse weather conditions.
