Description
Pliant's CrewCom IP-Rated 900MHz Radio Transceiver (RT) is an ideal solution for broadcasters and any live event where outdoor placement of transceivers for wireless coverage is required. This line of highly weather resistant IP-Rated RTs gives users the ability to have wireless intercom coverage where needed, without any concerns regarding weather related issues. There are 4 models available: 900MHz for North America, 900MHz for Oceania, 2.4GHz for CE countries, and 2.4GHz for worldwide.
The RTs will feature a sleek, yet durable, ABS plastic housing along with silicone-molded connector covers to ensure ingress protection in all unused connections. In addition, an updated and easy-to-use power supply (Model #PPS-48V-02) connector has also been added to allow for a push/pull quick-release connection and disconnection. The CrewCom IP65-Rated 900MHz Radio Transceiver supports up to six Radio Packs in Normal Mode and up to 32 Radio Packs in High Density Mode and is 100% compatible with the current CrewCom systems and existing transceivers. It houses a radio with corresponding antennas and serves as an access point, enabling RF communications with CrewCom Radio Packs. Using CrewNet as a backbone, a large number of RTs can easily be positioned on the network over a wide coverage area through direct connection to a Control Unit or Hub(s), or through daisy-chain configuration with each other. IP-Rated models allow for outdoor use in some of the most demanding production environments.
