    Description

    The VF-1 is a VHF Log Periodic Dipole Array used to receive VHF band signals from the UV-1G belt pack transmitters. The VF-1 is a directional antenna used to focus RF energy from one relative direction and should be used when forward gain and directivity is required. Using the VF-1 results in doubling the range of the belt pack transmit signals as compared to the supplied omnidirectional whip antenna. As antennas are reciprocal, the VF-1 may also be used as a transmit antenna for IFB systems in the 216-217 MHz band.
