The absorptive foam layer and spiked, rubber covered feet work together to decouple speakers from your work surface; while the angle of your speakers can be adjusted to provide vertical positioning.
The current MS-80B features removable rubber feet that allow the decoupling spikes to be placed atop current models of the MS-90 and MS-100 monitor stands stands. This gives users the option to expand from their desktop to monitor stands, or to add MS-80B to MS-90/100 monitor stands.
