Discovering Axient Digital with Shure and PE Schmitt

In an effort to help introduce the revolutionary new Shure Axient Digital wireless microphone series, we teamed up with our friends at the Peter E Schmitt Company to host "Discover Axient Digital" at the SIR Studios in Manhattan.

On hand representing Dale Pro Audio's sales and technical team were Joel Guilbert, John DiMaggio, Mike Bogen, Mike Descoteau, Lisa Gosselin, Tim Finnegan, Darryl Terry, and Dan Ross.

Kicking off with a catered lunch, PES's John Zambrano began the afternoon with a guided tour of the Axient Digital. It wasn't just pure Axient details though, as he continued to refer to the bigger picture of the ever-changing wireless landscape as he went. Many of the features of this system (such as the High-Density mode) were specifically made with said changes in mind.

With the AD series products currently available (the ShowLink-equipped ADX versions will be available in early 2018), the attendees were able to get some hands-on time with the gear. One volunteer even took one of the handheld transmitters all around the SIR building, and onto the outside street, with an astounding lack of dropout in audio! This was all while the AD4Q receiver was in a fairly off-the-shelf mode of operation.

Joel Guilbert was our primary planner for the event: "We were happy to show our valued customers what Shure's new Axient digital system offers, and they, in turn, were happy to get some hands-on experience with the powerful Axient system".
