NAB - Back In Person and Full Of Excitement.
After having two consecutive editions wiped out by the Covid-19 pandemic, the NAB Show was back. Despite reports of less than normal attendance by both exhibitors and visitors alike (roughly 52k people from 155 different nations), the show left no shortage of excitement about new products and developments in the broadcast and media world.
Some of the highlights we saw on the show floor:
- Glensound showed an amazing box for eSports, offering easy use and flexible setup for players, officials, and commentators alike.
- Ferrofish introduced the new A32Pro Dante - an AoIP format converter supporting up to a staggering 388 channels!
- Shure introduced the new KSM11 wireless capsule. Available in black or nickel, it's ideal for digital wireless systems to improve tone and clarity.
- Yellowtec unveiled the Hush - a handy little interface for easy incorporation and control of Litt-equipped m!ka arms.
- Lectrosonics introduced the DSR series of digital slot receivers: the DSR, DSR5P, and DSR4.
- NTP Technology displayed the DAD Core 256 ThunderCore interface, perfect for demanding high-channel audio transfer such as Dolby Atmos rendering.
- Neumann teased the new member of their studio monitor line, the KH 150.
- RTW displayed their forthcoming TouchControl 5 - an immersive monitoring unit that combines both metering and control.
- Comrex updated their codec line with the third-gen BRIC Link III.

Joel Guilbert was one of our attendees this year: "It was good to experience the NAB show once again, the 3 year absence felt quite long. Though a less attended show than prior years, the quality of attendees was top notch! We were happy to see valued customers and manufacturers alike."
