Founded by a group of location sound recordists in the late Eighties, Ambient Recording provides practically founded advice and know-how. Experience and curiosity helped to successfully develop their own products and to enlarge their product range of innovative equipment. Practical needs were the incentive to invent new products like the industry standard time code range or microphone booms and accessories.

The aim of Ambient Recording from the beginning was to invent smart tools to optimize and ease the production flow while recording on location.
