In any live application where a rugged state of the art dynamic is needed, the MBD 219 will surpass your expectations.
With more than 30 years of experience fabricating high-end condenser microphones, MBHO saw the need for a similar "no holds barred" approach with their dynamic line. The rules here call for linearity without high frequency peaks, minimum proximity effect, high directivity and reduced handling noise. To this end it adds a hand-optimized aluminum housing with the further advantage of internal shock mounting. The surface of the microphone is finished in non-reflective Nextel. Extreme high quality in fit and finish denote this product from the competition. The MBD 219 series is available in two models, the MBD 219 C - cardioid and MBD 219 SC - supercardioid.

It almost sounds veiled in comparison to its 219 SC brother which matches my voice with no EQ. I am sending the Cardioid back as I keep the SC.

One of the best experiences ever with a microphone. I play 125 days a year and our crew and sound crew noticed a difference immediately. I was also told by a person who attends my shows regularly that it was the clearest and most audible my voice has ever been. I will be purchasing another soon to use as a backup just in case this Army tank of a mic should get broken. If I could give this product a hundred stars I would. I’ve sang for 20 years, I’ve tried Shure betas,Sennheiser,Heil PR35, Neumann 105, and countless others. In my opinion for me, this is the last mic I will ever sing through.
