2018 SVG Summit Recap

Our friends at the Sports Video Group brought together some of the top broadcast professionals for this year's SVG Summit. The event was held at the New York Hilton Midtown and drew a record 1400 attendees.

Day One featured the DTV Audio Group meeting which included updates on the ATSC 3.0 standard, new approaches to sports sound design, as well as the all-important shrinking RF spectrum. Day Two included panels and workshops on Dolby Atmos, the impact of social media on content creation, and the emerging category of E-sports / competitive gaming.
