InfoComm19 Recap

The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Event.

InfoComm is the largest, most exciting event in North America focused on the pro-AV industry, with over 1,000 exhibitors, thousands of products, and 44,000 attendees from 110 countries. It's the annual "Mecca" for professional contractors, integrators, and AV technicians/buyers, converging in sunny Orlando.

Attending the show on Dale's behalf were Eric Eldredge and Joel Guilbert, searching for new, exciting products and technologies gracing the halls of the convention center.

Some of the highlights we came across during our travels:

  • Powersoft unveiled the new MEZZO line, bringing their award-winning amp technology to a series of 70/100 volt install models.
  • RME and Audio-Technica joined forces to offer an amazing high-end podcasting/streaming solution based around the Babyface Pro audio interface and a set of microphones, plus a software suite.
  • Focusrite Pro announced that their widely popular RedNet and Red series products are now all fully supported by Dante Domain Manager.
  • Lectrosonics introduced their new D Squared wireless system, with either handheld or bodypack transmitters pairing with an incredibly powerful receiver.
  • DPA Microphones showed off their 4097 CORE choir microphone system.
  • Bose unveiled their new DesignMax install speakers. A "step above" FreeSpace, they will be available in the fall.
  • Clockaudio demonstrated their new TIM-1000 ceiling microphone, which had a steerable pickup of almost 25 feet away.
  • Williams Sound introduced the WaveCAST - a wi-fi audio streaming system for assistive listening, multi-stream installs like sports bars or similar installations, etc.
  • We saw some great, inexpensive IEM personal monitor options from both CAD and Galaxy Audio.

We saw a lot of other great technologies and innovations on display in the show halls - check out our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages for more! We've also grabbed a few informative videos for our YouTube page.

Dale Pro Audio is proud to be a leading provider of solutions to the Live Sound, Install, and Contractor markets since 1956.
