The 600 MHz frequency band (614 - 698 MHz) has been re-allocated by the FCC to mobile broadband use, and wireless systems in that range became inoperable. Audio-Technica understands that many did not have access to their now illegal wireless systems due to the pandemic and has extended this trade-in program through September 30, 2020, to help you make the switch. When you don't have the luxury of broadcasting/streaming from an isolated space, you can really benefit from an On-Air light. On-Air lights are usually activated by GPIO from a radio console, a feature not found in compact audio consoles or computer-based set-ups.
