Rycote

New From Rycote: HC Series Microphones

Rycote enters the professional condenser microphone market with two high-quality shotgun microphones designed from scratch. They are co-developed exclusively by and for Rycote with a handmade and individually fine-tuned back-electret capsule.

The HC-15 ($779) and HC-22 ($799) are high-quality hypercardioid shotgun microphones. Both of these mics offer performance equal to or better than many of the more expensive professional microphones, while also offering a self-noise level lower than almost any equivalent sized shotgun mic at any price.

The microphones are also available as kits, including Rycote's all new NanoShield.
