Winter NAMM 2020 Recap

Seeing What's New in Audio at NAMM.

The winter NAMM show is the ultimate gathering of manufacturers of products in all aspects in music-making. In recent years, it's become more of a professional audio show than ever before, showcasing an ever-increasing amount of recording, live sound, content creation, and even some broadcast and live production! The event draws over 115,000 people in all walks of musical life to sunny Anaheim, California, and our team of professionals were in attendance.

  • Warm Audio released two direct boxes - one passive and one active.
  • Apogee showed a new addition to the Symphony family - the Symphony Desktop.
  • Avid introduced their new Pro Tools | MTRX Studio, and also a revamped line of HDX systems.
  • Focusrite Pro showed their ISA 828 MKII, with new updated features and Dante connectivity.
  • JBL introduced a series of new Bluetooth enabled IRX Loudspeakers.
  • RME released a few new products for AVB such as the AVB Tool and the 12Mic.
  • SSL showed two new amazing USB audio interfaces, the SSL 2 and SSL 2+.
